FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, equipment used in drop irrigation systems.

SUBSTANCE: dropper has casing with drain openings and fastening member for connecting casing to pipeline. Casing is defined by two sides formed as trays having cycloid-shaped bottom with apex arranged under conical water discharge opening of irrigation pipeline. Droplet-forming apertures are provided in tray bottoms, with axes of droplet-forming apertures being inclined at an angle of 50 deg toward water flow. Number of droplet-forming apertures depends upon distance between plants to be irrigated. Water discharge opening has smaller diameter within pipeline and greater diameter at its outer surface. Fastening member is made in the form of yoke and is equipped at its upper part with latch.

EFFECT: simplified construction and increased area of irrigated land.
