FIELD: food-processing industry, in particular, feed production, preferably processing of beet pulp.

SUBSTANCE: method involves squeezing beet in screw press until moisture content of 30-40% is obtained; transporting beet pulp by means of loading conveyor and vehicle for silage without usage of heat-carrier, with squeezed liquid being discharged through openings in screw and openings in die into reservoirs for coagulation; providing coagulation process for three days in coagulation reservoirs by adding 1%-solution of low-molecular organic acid concentrate, said process being accompanied with deposition of protein sediment; preparing low-molecular organic acid concentrate in mixer by pouring 30-35% of formic acid, 25-30% of acetic acid, 15-20% of propionic acid and 5-6% of other acids; directing deposited protein sediment for drying to produce plant-protein vitamin concentrate; discharging clarified liquid into vessel and using it as additive to be introduced into animal's ration or directing said liquid for feed yeast production. Apparatus has feeding device, charging hopper, screw press equipped with die and openings, and drier. Apparatus is further provided with charging conveyor and vehicle for transporting squeezed pulp for silage, mixer for preparing concentrate from low-molecular organic acids, and coagulation reservoirs. Gate is located at screw press outlet end for distribution of squeezed beet pulp mass flow.

EFFECT: provision for waste-free processing of beet pulp.
