FIELD: agricultural machinery industry, applicable at sugar-mills for extrusion of liquid from beet pulp. SUBSTANCE: screw extruder for squeezing-out of liquid from moisture-containing materials operates as follows: the material is fed through the charging opening and is carried along by the screw to the pressing chamber formed by the walls of the perforated die and the screw shaft. The arising force facilitates the squeezing-out of moisture, which flows out through the holes in the die and shaft, and the squeezed out pulp is fed for further processing. A guide baffle plate is attached to the end of the die for creation of a definite direction. EFFECT: maximized squeezing-out of liquid from beet pulp. 4 cl, 1 dwg
