FIELD: production of polymers; synthetic rubber industry.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes copolymerization of ethylene and propylene or ethylene, propylene and diene which consists in preparation of gas-and-liquid mixture containing monomers, hydrogen, hydrocarbon solvent and recirculating gas; proposed method includes also separation of catalytic complex solutions, delivery of gas-and-liquid mixture and solutions of catalytic complex components to first reactor, copolymerization in two reactors at high pressure and temperature, concentration of polymerizate at discharge of unreacted monomers, washing-out of polymerizate from catalytic complex, degassing and extraction of copolymer; recirculating gas containing monomers discharged from two polymerization reactors is fed to gas-and-liquid mixture together with low-boiling unreacted monomers discharged from rotary film-type evaporator to which polymerizate is fed; said evaporator is located after second polymerization reactor before washing-out of polymerizate from catalytic complex.
