FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, equipment used in animal farming.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus has prebathing pen with drawing-in device, curved dead cleavage device with planks-splitters, settling pen, cage for attracting sheep, bath and device adapted for feeding sheep into bath and made in the form of L-shaped rotary platform equipped with counterweight and retainer. Horizontal and vertical strips of said platform are pivotally connected with each other. Center of gravity of rotary platform with sheep standing thereon is offset with respect to its center of rotation toward transition bath through which sheep is to pass. Non-transparent curtain provided in front of horizontal strip edge is equipped with opening arranged at the level of animal's head, said opening being closed with transparent material, such as loosely woven metal net.

EFFECT: improved safety of farm personnel, reduced stress effect upon animals and decreased probability of damage to animals.
