FIELD: sharpening cutting edges of tools.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises grinding the blade by placing it in the magnetic field. According to the first version, the blade is exposed to the magnetic field so that the cutting edges are arranged in the plane parallel to the induction lines of the magnetic field. The blade is set in rotation around its axis that is perpendicular to the induction lines of the magnetic field. According to the second version, the blade is oriented in the magnetic field so that the cutting edges are located in the plane parallel to the induction lines of the magnetic field. The blade is set in vibration to provided the cutting edges to vibrate along the induction lines of the magnetic field.
EFFECT: reduced time for grinding.
