FIELD: transport engineering; ropeways.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mobile ropeways for transportation of loads and passengers. Proposed mobile overhead ropeway contains drive, two pulleys, each installed on self-propelled set equipped with hydraulic outriggers, closed taut carry-and-traction wire rope with mounted devices passing over pulleys and resting on rollers of line equalizers installed on telescopic supports. Drive is made in form of multi-inductor linear induction motor, each inductor of which being secured in series along axis of ropeway on line equalizers between rollers on which carry-and-traction wire rope rests, being simultaneously secondary part (reactive strip) of linear induction motor. Self-contained power generating sets to supply ropeway are installed on self-propelled sets.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of ropeway, simplified design of drive, increased safety.
