FIELD: heat treatment of loose materials.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method of heat treatment of vegetable waste, mainly burning vegetable waste in fluidized bed includes moving waste over gas distributing grate from loading to unloading sections and maintaining sum of hydraulic resistances of fluidized bed ΔPbed and grate ΔPgr constant ΔPbed=ΔPgr= constant; hydraulic resistance of fluidized bed in loading section ΔPbed at concentrated delivery is calculated according to: hgr=h+π(H-h)2 ctgα/6 for case B≥L and hgr=K[h+(H-h))/2] for case B<L where hgr is rated height of fluidized bed at loading section outlet, m; L is length of loading section, m; L=(H-h)ctgα; h is height of fluidized layer at loading section outlet, m; H is height of loading unit above grate, m; α is angle of repose of material, deg; B is width of loading section, m; K is coefficient.
EFFECT: improved quality of process.
