MULTI-ELEMENT LINEAR MODULE OF HYDRO-ACOUSTIC RECEIPT ANTENNA Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC H04R1/44

Abstract RU 2269875 C1

FIELD: hydro-acoustic noise direction-finding antennas engineering, possible use for engineering of discontinuous linear or two-dimensional flat and curvilinear antenna grids, including phased grids.

SUBSTANCE: multi-element module of hydro-acoustic receiving antenna has a set of piezoelectric transformers, mounted on the axis of polymer hose, having rectangular transverse section and reinforced by metallic mesh pressed inside it. Round plated bend transformers are utilized, held by means of rubber holders mounted along contour on two metallic ropes, which are stretched between end stoppers, covering inner hollow of polymer hose. Flat surfaces of transformers are parallel to large surfaces of polymer hose. Inner hollow of multi-element linear module is filled with elastic compound, through technological apertures in end stoppers. Electrical outputs of each transformer have paired coiling and each pair is encased in shared electrical screen. Inside one of end stoppers contact socket is positioned, by means of which transformers are connected to amplifying line.

EFFECT: increased sensitivity at receipt mode and improved directional properties of screened hydro-acoustic receiving antenna made of multi-element linear modules in broad range of frequencies and increased resistance to interference from external electromagnetic fields.
