FIELD: hydroacoustics. SUBSTANCE: proposed antenna has line units of cylindrical piezoelectric transducers incorporated in each line unit joined together by means of metal rod and encapsulated in polymeric hose-shaped enclosure filled with insulating material; it also has casing. Line units are installed in polymeric component slots whose depth amounts to minimum diameter of line units. Slot surface in polymeric cradle is lined with acoustically soft absorbing shields. Casing is made in the form of metal plate joined to flat surface of polymeric cradle; line units are held tight against casing by means of clips. In this way directivity properties of antenna in plane perpendicular to axes of line units is improved. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness, facilitated assembly and repairs of antenna. 2 cl, 3 dwg
