FIELD: dust removal equipment which may be used in home and industrial premises for dry cleaning of said premises from dust and soil, and which may serve as air cleaner operating in periodic and continuous modes.
SUBSTANCE: cleaning of dust laden air flow is provided with the use of liquid flow continuously fed during the whole cleaning cycle for intersecting air flow in direction perpendicular thereto to form fine air cleaning filter. Apparatus is made in the form of air washing machine, wherein liquid flow velocity exceeds air flow velocity by at least 30-50 times. Apparatus has transparent or opaque reservoir for liquid, which is made in the form of body of rotation consisting of two halves: lower part for containing of working liquid and having cylindrical wall with lower portion bent inward of reservoir, with monotonous inclination thereof toward discharge branch pipe with pipe and horizontal bottom. Upper U-shaped half of smaller diameter has upper inwardly bent portion provided with one or more suction branch pipes. U-shaped part is lowered with its walls of unequal height into liquid. Internal wall of upper half is made in the form of static air cleaning coarse filter, which, during operating cycle, continuously runs around it from the bottom to leave dust and soil particle in water, said particles settling onto bottom of reservoir lower half. Working liquid purity sensor located within reservoir provides for automatic operation in conjunction with vacuum cleaner. Cylindrical and conical baffles provide for zigzag-shaped motion of air flow in horizontal plane and impart properties preventing vacuum cleaner from bubbling and vibrating motions during movement thereof. All of mentioned parts and units have single vertical axis of symmetry. Vacuum cleaner is equipped with detachable head allowing reservoir to be emptied upon reversal of electric engine during and after cleaning of premises desirable number of times. Vacuum cleaner may have antimicrobial coating, ultraviolet lamp and permanent magnet.
EFFECT: provision for providing desirable suction power, wider operational capabilities and improved ecology control in premises.
