FIELD: railway transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device for lubricating flanges of freight car wheels. Proposed device contains reservoir with lubricant, oil lines and shoes 1 with inserts made of solid lubricant arranged for interaction with flanges 7 of bogie wheels. Each shoe is rigidly secured on spring-loaded tie-rods 2 installed for movement in longitudinal plane of bogies. Ends of spring-loaded tie-rods are provided with inclined stops 23 interacting with wedge retainers rigidly secured on cross tie-rods 20 and installed for movement in guides of bogies and interacting with curvilinear generating surface of cam 18 rigidly secured on bottom of car bogie so that its axis of rotation is coaxial with longitudinal axis of symmetry of bogie pivot 15.
EFFECT: improved reliability of device.
