FIELD: aircraft manufacture; outfit for flying vehicle cabin.
SUBSTANCE: proposed energy-absorbing seat includes framework, seat and back, vertical struts whose lower ends are rigidly secured to helicopter floor, upper suspension unit made in form of pair of slide blocks movably mounted on vertical guides, framework lower suspension unit and two shock absorbers. Vertical guides are rigidly secured on back. Lower suspension unit is made in form of swivel platform articulated to vertical struts at one end and connected with center part of seat by its second movable end with the aid of articulations; it is also connected with shock absorbers whose opposite ends are secured in upper parts of vertical struts; two slide blocks are connected with upper parts of vertical struts by means of articulation unit. Shock absorbers may be made in form of extensible articulated rods. Articulation units may be made in form of forks articulated in upper parts of vertical struts. Proposed seat makes it possible to increase range of touchdown angles of helicopter.
EFFECT: extended functional capabilities; reduced mass of seat.
