FIELD: manufacture of composite building materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to manufacture of high-strength composites based of fiberglass fillers, which can be used in various technical areas, e.g. in shipbuilding. Method consists in that fiberglass filler containing oiling agent (called "paraffin emulsion") is placed in the region of cathode drop and exposed for 30 to 90 sec to glow discharge of alternate current with frequency 50 Hz and intensity 50-100 mA at surrounding air pressure 1 to 20 Pa. After that glass cloth is impregnated with optionally binder based on epoxide, polyurethane, or polyester resin. Invention thus allows manufacture of high-quality water-resistant glass plastics from prepreg avoiding that filler be subjected to environmentally non-safe and economically onerous technical operations of removing paraffin emulsion via burning and activating glass cloth surface.
EFFECT: improved performance characteristics of filler.
