FIELD: methods for stimulating oil production by forming crevices or fractures, particularly to determine crack closing pressure and other parameters used to stimulate oil inflow.
SUBSTANCE: method involves initially injecting fluid into formation with the first substantially constant flow-rate Q to form crack; reducing injection flow-rate up to the second, lesser, value to stabilize crack volume and closing the crack after crack volume stabilization. The pressure in well is also detected to determine crack closing pressure from above well pressure analysis with the use of time behavior of dimensionless crack closing time. The dimensionless crack closing time is defined from correlation between time past crack closing and fluid injection time.
EFFECT: increased efficiency.
