FIELD: power engineering; windmill-electric generating plants.
SUBSTANCE: proposed rotary windmill-electric generating plant has at least one module that incorporates rotor with blades made in the form of aerodynamic wings and installed in a spaced relation relative to module shaft mechanically coupled with electric generator shaft. Windmill-electric generating plant is provided with fairing disposed upstream of module with respect to air flow that encloses clearance between internal edges of module rotor blades; it is also provided with converging tube disposed upstream of fairing along flow that encloses the latter at its outlet. Module rotor is made in the form of disk and its blades are mounted on this disk.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of using wind flow energy due to power recuperation from exhaust, cooling, and other systems; simplified design and facilitated maintenance of plant.
