FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering, particularly to designs of wind electric power plants that can be used for self-contained electric power supply. Proposed windmill comprises vane ring with curved vanes and rotor with curved blades, rotor shaft being coupled with electric generator shaft arranged displaced relative to rotor shaft. Proposed windmill consists of at least two modules, rotor blades in each module are arranged in three sections, 4 to 8 pieces in every section, spaced apart through 30°. Vane and blade concave surfaces are oriented in similar peripheral directions, while those in adjacent modules are oriented for modules to revolve in opposite directions. Modules are integrated in pairs by booster with bidirectional power drive with n (where n=1, 2, 3, 4) electric generators arranged symmetric about booster and connected to common control system.
EFFECT: higher wind energy utilisation factor, flexible control of electric power generation.
