FIELD: building, particularly to reinforce building structures, preferably reinforced concrete beams, to strengthen damaged or undamaged beam structures along with increased operational loads.
SUBSTANCE: method involves installing and tightening pre-stressed double-branch trussing tie rods on beam, wherein the tie rod is pre-stressed with the use of coupling bolts, coupling sleeves and other well-known means. Stress value is determined from the first condition wherein the second condition is to be fulfilled along with the first one. If the second conditions is not fulfilled zones characterized with insufficient load-bearing capacity are pinpointed in beam inside main double-branch trussing tie rod and additional embedded double-branch trussing tie rods are arranged in the beams. The additional double-branch trussing tie rods are also pre-stressed by applying stress determined from . Ends of the embedded tie rods are secured to reinforced concrete beams with the use of compressed member.
EFFECT: increased load-bearing capacity and crack resistance of reinforced concrete beams strengthened with double-branch trussing tie rods, possibility to determine effective operation of the tie rods.
