FIELD: electrical and power engineering; power stations using transformer substations.
SUBSTANCE: proposed transformer unit has three-phase group of single-phase transformers. Each single-phase transformer has minimum two windings. Each of mentioned windings is built of two parts disposed on magnetic circuits of different single-phase transformers and connected in series opposition to form three-phase windings. Parts of three-phase winding phases can be connected in parallel with current-correction units whose input leads can be placed at certain potential. Transformer incorporates provision for reducing current through shorted circuits of winding and through circuit responsible for this short, as well as for reducing electrodynamic forces on these circuits and local heat.
EFFECT: enhanced operating reliability of transformer unit.
