FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method involves feeding basic material into gap between concave and drum-fan for threshing and separating of grain; creating air flow directed from drum-fan toward concave in parallel with planks of concave. Air flow is provided due to axial air inflow through apertures in side walls of apparatus and owing to additional supply of air through compensating apertures toward threshing zone. Apparatus has drum-fan and concave arranged in spaced relation with respect to one another. Planks are provided on concave at an angle to radius of drum-fan. Drum-fan has whips fixed on brackets and radial blades serving as rigidity members. Side walls of apparatus are equipped with apertures having regulating shutters.
EFFECT: improved separation of grain owing to aerodynamic effect upon material under threshing procedure, and reduced damage to grains.
