FIELD: mechanical engineering, in particular, equipment for grinding of various materials.
SUBSTANCE: drum-type mill has cylindrical drum with conical end walls wherein circular openings axially aligned with drum are formed, charging device comprising charging pin mounted on end wall and provided with circular receiving opening, discharge device, and drum rotating drive. Drum has D/L ratio of 0.82-0.84, where D is diameter and L is length of cylindrical part of drum. Generatrices of conical end walls are inclined to longitudinal axis of drum at an acute angle of 78-85 deg. Charging pin generatrix is inclined to drum longitudinal axis at an angle of 13-18 deg. Diameter d of receiving opening is (0.25-0.27)D. Charging pin incorporates vertical annular bead on which hydraulic gate is disposed. Hydraulic gate is made in the form of annular splitter axially aligned with longitudinal axis of mill drum. Length of annular splitter generatrix is (0.22-0.25)d.
EFFECT: improved technical and economic characteristics, and increased operational and ecological parameters of drum-type mill.
