Abstract RU 2271308 C1

FIELD: hydromechanical drives in aircraft control systems; control of front wheel in taxiing mode and dampening vibrations of freely oriented front wheel in dampening mode.

SUBSTANCE: proposed wheel turning mechanism includes actuator in form of hydraulic motor, distributing unit, hydraulic compensator, two-position valve communicated with distributing unit, actuator, hydraulic compensator and pressure hydraulic line. Distributing unit is made in form of swivel control spool valve and back coupling spool valve. Wheel turning mechanism includes also two safety valves connecting the hydraulic lines running to hydraulic motor and two adjustable throttle valves built in hydraulic lines communicated with two-position valve. Two-position valve has inner passage communicating the hydraulic lines running to hydraulic motor. Proposed mechanism ensures temperature compensation of working fluid in hydraulic motor chambers and replenishing the hydraulic motor chambers directly from hydraulic compensator in case of leakage; simultaneously, dampening of vibrations of freely oriented wheel is ensured at motion of aircraft on ground at working speed.
