FIELD: agriculture, in particular, cow milking equipment, including milking units used in family farming, even when only one cow is available.

SUBSTANCE: milking unit has pulsator, milk claw, and teat cups having liner walls thickening from the top to the bottom. Milking unit is made independent and comprises power plant and compressed air cylinder equipped with hand-held piston pump. Mounted within pulsator are partition, cylinder with valve and piston adapted for feeding and releasing of compressed air in teat cup chamber arranged between walls. Cylinder is furnished with pipes. Valve is made integral with stem and is mounted by means of pin for axial displacement within spring-loaded piston. Top cover of pulsator is provided with through openings.

EFFECT: compact construction, increased efficiency and independent operation of milking unit.
