FIELD: mining industry; processes of the flotation concentration of barite-containing ores.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertinent to the processes of the flotation concentration of barite-containing ores, namely, to auxiliary processes for additional concentration of the floatation barite concentrate. The technical result of the invention is production of the concentrate of the higher grade (KB-1) due to the partial desorption of the reactant-collector from the surface of barite particles as a result of the selective action of the reactant and additionally due to an increase of the speed of a sedimentation of the modified barite and a dispersion of the particles of the rock refuse under action of the humate-containing component and their dumping together with the drain of the concentrate thickener originates production of the high-quality barite concentrate (KB-1.) Carbon-phasphate reactant (CPR) contains a sodium-phosphate-containing compound. In addition it contains the humate-containing compound. CPR in the capacity of the sodium-phosphate-containing compound contains sodium tripolyphosphate and-or trisodium phosphate, and in the capacity of the humate-containing compound contains sodium or potassium salts of humic acids within the limits of the ratio 1/15 - 1/20. Sodium or potassium salts of humic acids are produced from brown coal, with the contents of humates of no less than 50 %, sodium hydroxide or potassium hydroxide and water. The method is realized by a foam flotation at presence of a fatly-acid collector, in which the floatation barite concentrate is additionally treated with a reactant for modifications of the barite particles surface. The treatment is realized at the stage of the barite concentrate thickening, and in the capacity of the modification reactant they use the carbon-phasphate-reactant. For treatment of the flotation barytic concentrate use a water solution of a reactant in the ratio of 3-5 kg of CPR per 1 ton of the concentrate, the treatment is conducted during the whole process of thickening, which takes 4-6 ours.
EFFECT: the invention ensure production of the barite concentrate of the higher grade, an increase of the speed of a sedimentation of the modified barite, dispersion of the particles of the rock refuse, their dumping together with the drain of the concentrate thickener.
