FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to the field of flotation enrichment of beryllium-containing ores and can be used to produce a beryllium-containing concentrate of the highest grade with a relatively low fluorine content from fluorite-bertrandite-phenacite ores. The method includes separation of ore, crushing, grinding, flotation of beryllium with a fatty acid collector and kerosene using flotation reagents, including those including a combination of sodium polyphosphates (hexametaphosphate, tripolyphosphate, pyrophosphate), caustic soda or soda, sodium fluoride. Ore is separated piece by piece by the method of optical (Color) separation by the fluorite contained therein, wherein beryllium minerals are associated with said fluorite. Flotation enrichment includes a main flotation, two cleaner flotations and one control flotation. The flow rate of the collector - oleic acid - is 0.15 kg/t, and that of kerosene is 0.5 kg/t. The tailings of the cleaner flotations and the concentrate of the control flotation are directed for the main flotation.
EFFECT: production of a high-grade beryllium concentrate with a low fluorine content.
