FIELD: spraying means, particularly to spray fine solid sorbent during oil spill elimination.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises hollow body with main bottom, inlet orifice to supply pressurized air into body interior and outlet orifice. Device is provided with fan, which supplies the pressurized air into the body and is connected to the main bottom. Device also includes inclined partition (splitter) with through orifices. The partition is arranged over the inlet orifice and has at least one, the first, part inclined towards inlet orifice, as well as peak fixedly secured to the body over the outlet orifice. The inclined partition has the second part, which is inclined from outlet orifice. Thus, the inclined partition is composed of two parts inclined in opposite directions. Transversal orifice is formed in base of the first inclined partition part. Two longitudinal orifices (cuts) are created in side ends of the first part at base thereof. The inclined partition is provided with projections (flaps) extending upwards and arranged between longitudinal orifices so that each projection extends along one orifice. Inlet and outlet orifices are created in the main body bottom. The body is provided with additional bottom fixedly connected to the inclined partition (splitter) and to the peak. Additional bottom has through orifices arranged in front of the inlet and outlet orifices made in the main bottom. The additional bottom may be detached and displaced outside the body. Additional bottom may cooperate with end of opened orifice made in cardboard box filled with material to be sprayed, namely solid sorbent usually packed in such boxes after production. The box is to be installed inside the body. Additional bottom is provided with flexible members made of flexible material (rubber cords) fixed to the additional bottom by any known method, passing along the full box perimeter and engaging side walls and bottom thereof.
EFFECT: increased operational convenience and humanization owing to prevention of fine sorbent losses caused by wing during in-situ sorbent loading in the device due to enclosing box with sorbent by additional bottom.
