FIELD: automotive industry; passenger cars.

SUBSTANCE: proposed car has body with seats and convertible top consisting of front section adjoining windshield frame and rear section hinge-secured in rear part of car body. Both sections are hinge-connected to each other and made for turning relative to each other and car body from initial into final position and arrangement in rear part of body. With convertible top arranged in rear part of body, front section of top is placed mainly vertically directly behind the seats and rear section is arranged mainly horizontally in rear part of car body. Front section of top in place of connection to windshield frame is made to suit body bottom behind car seats. Front section of top is made for partial overlapping of rear section. At least part of front section overlapping rear section is made transparent.

EFFECT: simplified design, possibility of use of convertible tops on hatchback-type bodies.
