FIELD: mechanical engineering; materials handling facilities.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to control, overload and dame protection devices of load-lifting cranes. Loads tolerable for different spatial positions of boom or load-gripping member are preliminarily determined and recorded. In process of operation of crane, working parameters characterizing current load and present position of boom or load-gripping member are determined and current load is compared with tolerable load for present position. Warning signal or control signal for crane mechanisms is formed if current load exceeds tolerable load. According to one version, parameter characterizing peculiarities of changes of crane working parameters in process of its normal preparation for load-lifting operation are determined and recorded additionally. In process of preparation for load-lifting operation, actual value of said parameter is determined. Recorded and actual values are compared. Depending on results of comparing, additional warning signal or crane mechanism control signal is formed. According to other version, prior to beginning of operation, character of load to be lifted or technological peculiarities of lifting are determined. Depending on character or peculiarities, additional working parameter of crane is revealed influencing safety of operation. Maximum tolerable value of said parameter is determined and recorded. In process of operation, current value of parameter is measured and current and maximum tolerable values are compared. Depending on results of comparing, warning signal or crane mechanism control signal is formed additionally.
EFFECT: improved of protection and safe operation of crane.
