FIELD: drilling tools, particularly drilling bits adapted to drill fissured and alternating rock.

SUBSTANCE: drilling bit comprises body with cuts made in lower parts thereof. The cuts are inclined and extend in direction opposite to body rotation direction. The cuts divide the bit into several sections reinforced with cutters. Drilling bit also has guide bush arranged in body interior. The cutters have asymmetric wedge-like working heads with cutting edges directed along crown radius and offset from longitudinal cutter axis in crown rotation direction. Front cutter edge is aligned with front wall of the section.

EFFECT: reduced impact loads applied to cutters and cutter chip-page and, as a result, increased penetration speed.
