FIELD: coatings, particularly to form paint coatings and other coverings by compressed-air spraying and electrostatic methods.
SUBSTANCE: plant has supports, rotary frame for article receiving mounted on the supports; carriage with sprayer, conveyer for carriage transportation so that the carriage may reciprocate along axis of frame rotation for length equal to article length. The frame provides article rotation about horizontal axis through at lest 180° angle. The conveyer is arranged over the frame and made as two rods connected to supports by cross-bars. Tie bar is connected to rods so that the tie bar may reciprocate along axis of rotation. Carriage with sprayer is installed in the tie bar and may reciprocate transversely to axis of rotation for length equal to article width.
EFFECT: possibility to apply coatings on articles characterized by rugged relief, including that having zigzag corrugations on outer surfaces, possibility to coat both article surfaces and extended range of plant usage.
