FIELD: municipal engineering; trash cans.

SUBSTANCE: proposed explosionproof trash can has hollow housing with filler and insert-trash collector 4. Housing is formed by outer cylinder 1, inner cylinder 2 and cover 3 with hole for insert-trash collector. It is made of plastic material, density not exceeding 0.2-1.0 and ultimate strength not exceeding 0.5-1.0, respectively, of density and ultimate strength of aluminum. Inner space of housing is sealed and is filled with loose material, porosity 0.2-0.95, and thickness of layer not less than 0.3 of inner diameter of insert-trash collector. Loose material can be arranged in not less than one chamber. Bottom of housing can be provided with one or several air spaces. Thickness of layer of loose material and sections in vertical plane passing through axis of symmetry of housing. Vertical stiffening ribs can be arranged inside hollow housing. Plane of ribs passes at a distance from axis of housing. Air drier can be placed into loose material.

EFFECT: provision of higher explosion safety of trash can.
