FIELD: concentration of minerals; chemical technology of inorganic agents.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes magnetic separation of foam product of opposite nephelinic floatation in magnetic field at magnetic induction of 0.8-1.6 T. Aegirite concentrate is obtained from magnetic fraction. At additional treatment of this concentrate with sulfuric acid, concentrate at higher content of aegirite may be obtained. Non-magnetic fraction is treated with sulfuric acid solution at concentration of 5-15% to pH of 1.4-2.2. Liquid phase is separated. Under definite conditions of process, liquid phase performs function of alumosilicic coagulant-flocculant. Solid phase is treated with sulfuric acid solution at concentration of 5-10% continued for 1-5 ; acid is proportioned at two stages. During first stage, acid is introduced in such amount that its concentration in suspension ranges from 50 to 60 g/l and during second stage remaining amount of acid sufficient for dissolving of apatite is introduced. Liquid phase is again separated. Solid residue is dried and is subjected to separation in magnetic field at magnetic induction of 0.8-1.0 T. As a result, aegigirite concentrate is obtained in magnetic fraction and sphene concentrate is obtained in non-magnetic fraction.
EFFECT: increase of commercial products; reduced amount of wastes; reduced content of phosphorus in sphene concentrate.
