BRIQUETTING PRESS Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC B30B11/20 

FIELD: working materials by pressure, possibly making briquettes of coal dust, turf crumbles, saw dust or their mixtures.

SUBSTANCE: press includes vertically arranged casing, shaft, pressing member in the form of rotor and cleat for removing briquettes. Press includes in addition cylindrical eccentric and flanges secured to shaft and to cylindrical eccentric. Charging opening and inspection window arranged over discharging opening of lower flange are provided in upper flange. Flanges are mounted in casing at maximum gap 0.25 - 0.5 mm. Shaping gear wheel is mounted in eccentric with possibility of free rotation. Rim of said wheel has concave teeth (of Novikoff's transmission) engaged with teeth on inner side of casing between flanges. Said concave teeth restrict duct of press die in zone of maximum contact with casing and inner surfaces of flanges.

EFFECT: simplified design, increased loading capability and improved operational reliability of press, lowered power consumption for pressing briquettes.
