FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming, particularly, to briquetting machines. Proposed machine comprises hopper, female die ring, moulding element, actuator and drive. Actuator is made up of drive shaft with cam, hollow cylindrical wheel with cogs and gear fitted on cam. Said gear is arranged inside hollow cylindrical wheel engaged with cogs. Moulding element is rigidly fixed on gear inside female die ring and has working surfaces. Sharp ledges are made on edges of said working surfaces. Female die ring has working chambers arranged along ring circumference in number multiple of that of cogs. Cylindrical working surfaces of moulding element feature arc length with maximum value defined by relation enclosed herewith.
EFFECT: higher efficiency, reduced power consumption.
