FIELD: electroforming processes and equipment, namely electrolytic shaping of complex-profile parts with variable thickness of wall.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of electrolytic deposition of variable thickness metal layer onto working surface of cathode (used as form) immersed in electrolyte at predetermined electrolysis modes realized by placing screen devices between anode and cathode. Intensity of electric field ion fluxes oriented to radius joining of cathode (form) surface is limited due to placing additional screening device in electrolyte in front of radius joining. Width of additional screening device is inversely proportional to joining curvature; said device is spaced form radius joining by distance directly proportional to layer thickness of electrolytic deposition of metal. Remaining ion fluxes dissipate along shaping surface of cathode as thickness of formed wall of part lowers. Apparatus for performing the method includes electrolysis bath, at least one anode, form secured to suspension member, screening devices spaced form lateral surfaces of form and restricting variable cross section ducts. Additional screening device is arranged in electrolysis bath and it is secured to suspension member along radius joining of form surfaces. Width of additional screening device is inversely proportional to curvature of radius joining and it is spaced from radius joining by distance directly proportional to thickness of formed wall. All screening devices define lines of electric field ion flux from anode surface towards radius joining of shaping surface of form.
EFFECT: enhanced accuracy and quality of variable thickness wall of complex-profile parts.
