FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method involves exciting gate vibrations in hopper of drill having slit-type window equipped with gate, said vibrations being excited with the use of pulsed signals of predetermined frequency and duration for enabling flowing of material to be sown from hopper at desirable seeding norm; generating signals depending on kind of crop to be sown and respective seeding norm; establishing pulsed signal frequency in accordance with predetermined natural vibration frequency of flowing from hopper of crop to be sown; setting pulse duration in accordance with predetermined seeding norm of respective crop; correcting seeding norm upon changing of drill velocity. Apparatus has gate controlling electromagnet, processor equipped with control panels for setting of crop kind and seeding norm, and drill velocity sensor. Processor is electrically connected to velocity sensor and through pulse duration programmer to electromagnet.
EFFECT: increased efficiency and enhanced reliability in operation.
