FIELD: glass industry; purification of the quartz sand.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of glass industry, in particular, to purification of the quartz sand. The method of the quartz sand dressing provides for separation of the organic, carbon, powder-like, mineral and argillaceous impurities by their handling with the help of the fixed blade in the chamber rotating with the cutting speed of 5-15 m\s up to the increase of the dust share by 0.3-7 %. The atmospheric air may be fed into the sand jet on the blade. The invention ensures the improved quality of the quartz sand purification.
