FIELD: timber industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices designed for forming and holding long-length loads, for instance, trees, on vehicle. Proposed bunk clamp has base 1 hinge-mounted on frame of self-propelled chassis and provided with articulated drive clamping levers 5 and mechanism to rotate pack of timber around its longitudinal axis in process of logging. Said mechanism includes shaft 11, one end of which is connected with rotation drive 12, and the other is connected through universal joint with disk 15 whose side pointed to pack under logging is provided with tenons 16 for reliable engagement of tenons with butts of trees in pack. Shaft rotation drive is installed for movement along longitudinal axis of shaft by drive with shaft and disk. Freely rotation rollers are installed on inner surfaces of articulated clamping levers. Outer surfaces of rollers project over inner surfaces of clamping levers.
EFFECT: improved efficiency by debranching of trees in process of transportation.
