FIELD: timber industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for gripping and holding long-cut loads on frame of self-propelled chassis. Proposed bunk clamping device has base 1 installed on vertical axle of vehicle frame and provided with articulated clamping double-arm levers 5, ropes 12, 13 some ends of which are secured on upper ends of levers, and support beam 8 installed for movement in vertical plane along guides 6 of base 1 and connected by tie-rods 9 with lower arms of levers 5. Lower ends of tie-rods 9 are hinge-connected through axles 20 with levers 5, and upper ends, are hinge-connected with support beam 8. Lifting mechanism is installed between support beam 8 and base 1. Ropes 12, 13 are passed over sheaves 14 and 15 of support beam 8 and are connected by other ends with lower arms of levers 5. Support beam 8 is provided with relief roller 19 installed inside support beam 8 for displacement relative to beam in vertical plane and playing the part of receiving beam.
