ANODIC HOUSING OF THE ALUMINUM ELECTROLYTIC BATH WITH THE UPPER CURRENT FEED BAR AND THE SELF-CALCINATING ANODE Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC C25C3/12

Abstract RU 2274681 C1

FIELD: non-ferrous metallurgy; devices of production of the electrolytic aluminum.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of non-ferrous metallurgy, in particular, to the anodic housing of the aluminum electrolytic bath with the upper current lead and the self-calcinating anode, mainly to the structural components of the aluminum electrolytic baths. The technical result of the invention is reduction of the labor input for servicing of the anode at ensuring the indispensable and sufficient robustness and fastness of the anodic housing. The anodic housing of the aluminum electrolytic bath includes the rigid load-bearing frame of the box-type profile, inside which there are the vertical reinforcement ribs. Along the perimeter of the box-type profile of the anodic housing there are the rigidly fixed cooling fins consisting of the vertical and the inclined components. The horizontal box stiffening belt is mounted through the rectangular holes made in the cooling fins in the place of transition of their vertical components into the inclined components. The transversal load-bearing element of the box-type profile is mounted in the upper part of the anodic housing. The metallic angle bar is fixed on the upper part of the transversal load-bearing element. It is intended for preventing adhesion of the anodic mass. The transversal load-bearing element of the box-type section consists of the vertical and horizontal walls.

EFFECT: the invention ensures the indispensable and sufficient robustness and fastness of the anodic housing and reduction of the labor input for servicing of the anode.
