FIELD: hydraulic structures, particularly fish passes permitting fish passage through support structures to fish hatchery and growth areas.
SUBSTANCE: method involves supplying working water flow from upper pool in fish pass channel simultaneously with passing thereof from upstream fish pass chamber to downstream fish pass chamber through surface swimming-in orifice and additional orifices created in transversal partition; passing working water flow through perforated transversal partitions arranged in two independent fish pass channels defined by longitudinal partition arranged along fish pass axis; reducing water level difference over the first independent fish pass channel length in direction towards inlet fish pass head by passing working flow through additional orifices formed in transversal partitions and having perforation orifice areas increasing in the same direction; increasing water level difference over the second independent fish pass channel length in direction towards inlet fish pass head by passing working water flow through additional orifices made in transversal partitions and having perforation orifice areas decreasing in the same direction.
EFFECT: possibility to create effective hydraulic conditions to permit fish passage in upper pool of hydraulic system.
