FIELD: liquid-propellant rocket engines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed member 10 of liquid-propellant rocket engine is essentially body of revolution with diameter of cross sections changing along axis. Wall of member is provided with great number of cooling channels 11. Outer surface of wall is formed by solid envelope 14 made of sheet metal. Cooling channels 11 are secured in longitudinal direction of inner side of metal envelope. When making member 10 of rocket engine using proposed method, envelope 14 is made of sheet metal. Form of envelope corresponds to form of that part of nozzle for manufacture of which it is designed. Then great number of cooling elements 15 are made to form cooling channels and said cooling elements 15 are attached to inner side of envelope 14 made of sheet metal.
EFFECT: improved design of cooling member of rocket engine and method of its manufacture.
