FIELD: rocket engines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed exhaust nozzle is made in form of body of revolution with longitudinal axis and diameter of cross section changing along axis. Nozzle has wall with great number of adjacent cooling channels passing parallel to each other from inlet end 12 of nozzle to its outlet end 13. When manufacturing such nozzle by method proposed in invention, great number of preliminarily machined sections is used, each provided with wall and flanges arranged at different sides of wall. Each section is milled decreasing its width gradually in longitudinal direction. Machined sections of nozzle wall and their flanges are welded to each other, thus forming bell-like nozzle with cooling channels 11 formed by walls and flanges of each pair of adjacent sections.
EFFECT: improved characteristics of nozzle.
