FIELD: weaponry, applicable in noiseless weapon of the small-arms, grenade-launching and mine-throwing types.

SUBSTANCE: the weapon has a stock, firing mechanism, cylinder with a piston and a powder charge for the projectile, it is provided with an additional cylinder and a piston of a larger diameter. The additional cylinder is made integral with the available cylinder with an opportunity to move together with it relative to the stock, the projectile is positioned on the outer side of the piston of the cylinder with the smaller diameter, the charge is positioned between the two pistons, and the stock is placed on the side of the piston of the cylinder of the larger diameter.

EFFECT: provided use of a charge of a higher power for enhancing the projectile velocity.
