FIELD: small-arms throwing weapon, applicable for competitions in fire from an arbalest.

SUBSTANCE: the arbalest has a bow, butt, trigger mechanisms, stock and a carriage. The arrow is made hollow. The stock is made in the form of a tube, whose outside diameter is smaller than the inside diameter of the arrow. The carriage is made in the form of a ring, whose inside diameter is larger than the outside diameter of the stock and smaller than the outside diameter of the arrow. A groove is made on the carriage for the bow-string, in the central part the bow is made forked.

EFFECT: simplified construction.
