FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, mellowing and soil erosion controlling equipment.

SUBSTANCE: mellower according to first version has guiding bar and body of working tool equipped with steps provided on its inclined faces defining splitting rib at face intersection site. Splitting rib is defined by intersecting front and rear faces provided with the use of cross-wedge rolling process carried out by means of wedge-shaped tools movable toward one another. Axially aligned left-handed and right-handed side inclined faces, left-handed and right-handed angular inclined faces are provided on body. Body is provided with longitudinal slot joined with guiding bar through recesses on side faces and also through retainer made in the form of U-shaped plate which is positioned above body in recesses of bar side recesses. Mellower according to second version has splitting rib defined by cross-wedge rolling process conducted by means of wedge-shaped tools movable to one another over front surface formed by two steps of inclined faces intersecting with rear face. Left-handed and right-handed inclined faces, left-handed and right-handed angular inclined faces are symmetrically formed on body. Mellower according to third version has splitting rib defined by intersection of inclined face on step, front and rear faces with the use of cross-wedge rolling process conducted by rolling of wedge-shaped tools toward one another. V-shaped projection with left-shaped and right-shaped faces inclined to platform and longitudinal slots are symmetrically arranged in similar manner on upper platform of body. Body is joined with guiding bar through U-shaped plate arranged above body projection in recesses of bar side faces.

EFFECT: reduced draft and high quality of soil and ground crumbling.
