FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, equipment for feeding of harvested crops to mowing units of header and grain combines.

SUBSTANCE: pneumatic winder has two hollow bars mounted on header and provided with openings on generatrices thereof. Openings provided through upper hollow bar are extending at an acute angle to vertical plane in direction of advancement of machine in third quadrant of cross section. Openings provided through lower hollow bar are extending at an acute angle to horizontal plane in direction of advancement of machine in forth quadrant of cross section. Air distributing washers with S-shaped air channels are located in each hollow bar at air supplying side thereof. Air is directed from upper bar openings onto stems of crop under harvesting process throughout the entire width of header for inclining stems to cutter bar. If header encounters entangled or downed stems, air is then supplied through lower bar openings for lifting of downed stems and feeding them onto cutter bar. Air flows supplied from upper and lower bar openings provide for reliable advancement of stems of crops under harvesting process to cutter bar.

EFFECT: increased efficiency and enhanced reliability in operation.
