FIELD: surface irrigation equipment which may be used at various soil-amelioration-climatic conditions.
SUBSTANCE: irrigation system has distributor, constant irrigation apparatus with irrigating capacity of 60 l/s and reinforced with four water outlets and guarding construction, discharge furrow, irrigation furrow, catch basin, and storm rain and drainage water collector. Discharge furrow is traced with gradient of i=0 and is made to have bottom width of 1.0 m, top width of 1.39 m, constructional depth of 0.26 m and slope laying coefficient of m=0.75. Irrigation water is fed from distributor at flow rate of 60 l/s into constant irrigation apparatus having length of up to 500 m, and is further directed from irrigation apparatus at flow rate of 30 l/s into discharge furrow having length of 250 m, with water depth in furrow constituting 0.15 m, at flow speed of 0.20 m/s. Two discharge furrows may be worked out simultaneously by means of one irrigating apparatus and, correspondingly, two irrigators are needed for performing said work. Irrigation process is provided without disposal of waste water. Before irrigation process, irrigator forms water outlets in furrow sides by means of bayonet type spade, said water outlets leading to first group of 15 outer irrigation furrows, and water being fed at flow speed of 2 l/s. Before irrigation of second group of irrigation furrows, irrigator makes water outlets leading to next group of 15 irrigation furrows by means of spade, and overlaps waterway of discharge furrow by portable metal web. The process is further repeated. Irrigation system allows irrigation norms to be reduced by two or three times.
EFFECT: increased efficiency in saving of irrigation water by application of flow-through flooded furrows.
