FIELD: oil production industry, particularly submersed downhole electric pump plants used for mechanical oil production.

SUBSTANCE: valve assembly comprises body, adapter, seat, ball-shaped main shutoff member and discharge unit with through channel. The discharge unit is provided with seat and additional shutoff member formed as ball having diameter lesser than that of main shutoff member. Cap of truncated cone shape is installed in the adapter. Major truncated cone base faces shutoff members. Through slots starting in cap center are created in cap side walls. Device is provided with vertical partition fixedly connected with the body. The partition, body and adapter define cavities communicated one with another in upper parts thereof so that additional shutoff member may pass in cavity of main shutoff member location and in reverse direction.

EFFECT: extended range of application and possibility of device usage in paraffin-containing wells.
