FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed two-stage air cleaner of internal combustion engine contains cyclone device in its first cleaning stage assembled of separate cyclones built into tube plates. Each cyclone has housing with inlet branch pipe and outlet pipe. Cassettes are installed in series in second stage. Housings of cassettes are filled up with corrugated wire differing in density for each cassette, and dust suction hopper and outlet branch pipe are provided. Cyclones is cyclone device are made with ratio of diameters of outlet branch pipe and outlet pipe (D1/d1) equal to 1.6. Distance h from axis of projections on surface to cut is within 6.7-7.5 mm. Outlet edges of outlet branch pipe and outlet pipe at building-in into tube plates are made in form of arc of circumference, radius R=1.5-2.5 of wall thickness. Cyclone device is divided into two sections with formation of intersection space where pitch of cyclones in each section is 1.06-1.09 of outer diameter of cyclone housing, and distance between cut of outlet pipe of each cyclone and lower plane of air inlet into first of two cassettes of second cleaning stage is not less than 1.4 of diameter of cyclone outlet pipe. Dust suction hopper is provided with stamping, being made with tilting in direction of dust at suction.
EFFECT: increased time of operation of air cleaner to maximum restriction, reduced dust escape factor.
